THE PRINCIPLE BEHIND THE EXERCISE

What is SOVT?

SOVT stands for semi-occluded vocal tract. In exercises such as straw phonation and lip trills, you vocalize through a partly narrowed opening. That creates back pressure and changes how airflow interacts with the vocal folds.

Singers use SOVT exercises for warm-ups and regular voice training. INNVOX Pro brings this kind of practice into a portable, water-free routine and gives you a visual breath record to revisit.
